Marc-François Mignot Mahon became Chief Executive Officer in May 2017. He was previously President of Galileo Global Education France as well as a member of the Galileo Global Education Board. Prior to that, Marc François founded and managed various successful companies in the field of higher education (Hétic, Cifap and Cifacom) and in digital business (Sollan, Education.com and EMME) and also held senior management positions at professional institutions (FING, AFEM, EIMF).
Bruno Mourgue d'Algue joined Galileo Global Education in April 2012 from Providence Equity Partners in London, where he led an investment in Academedia, #1 Swedish group of independent schools. Bruno was previously at The Carlyle Group in the European technology fund and also worked at JP Morgan and BNP in London and New York. He has a Master's degree from ESSEC and studied at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
Prior to joining Istituto Marangoni in 2008, Roberto worked with advertising agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, DDB Needham, Pirella Gottsche Lowe, serving clients in the design industry. Roberto also held positions at leading companies in service and online markets such as Valtur (Italy), Hotelplan (Switzerland) and Opodo (United Kingdom). Roberto has a BA degree in Oriental Languages and Literature from University of Venice Ca’ Foscari and an MA in Marketing and Communication from Publitalia School in Milan.
Raph Appadoo founded Galileo Global Education in November 2011. Raph was previously President of Laureate Education, Inc., a post-secondary education company, until 2007. Prior to that, Raph was Executive Vice President of Aetna International Inc. and also held senior management positions at General Motors, Merrill Lynch and Raytheon. Raph has a BSc degree from London School of Economics and received his MBA from the University of Chicago.
Prior to becoming Managing Director at Galileo France, Marc was Marketing Director at Galileo France. Previously, he was in charge of Marketing and Internet Strategies for several companies in various sectors. In the past, Marc worked as Project Manager for IT services companies. Marc received a Master's Degree from UTC (Université de Technologie de Compiègne)
Geoffroy joined the Group in 2017 as Managing Director at Galileo France. Previously, he was Deputy CEO at Vitalia, group of private hospitals. Geoffroy holds a Master’s degree in civil engineering from ESTP (Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics) and has a background in Finance through his experiences in Transaction Services and Industry.
Sebastien has a background in Finance and Investment. Before joining Galileo Global Education in December 2013, he was investment director in a private equity fund supporting the growth of successful French SMBs. Previously he worked at Vinci in the structured finance team on various infrastructure projects. He has a Master degree from l’Ecole Polytechnique and a MSc from Columbia University in New-York.
Donato Medici joined Istituto Marangoni in 2006 driving the international and organizational development of the school. Prior to Istituto Marangoni, Donato held different positions in NCR Corp. a company listed in NYSE covering also the role of CFO for the EMEA Retail Region. Donato holds an MBA degree in Economics from the University of Milan.
Reimar has a background in strategy consulting and higher education management. Prior to Macromedia, Reimar was a Principal at PwC and a Project Leader at Capgemini, focusing on media, telecoms and technology industries. Previously, he worked at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland as an Academic Manager. He received a PhD from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland and a BA degree in Economics from Witten/Herdecke University.
Jorge joined Galileo Global Education in November 2011. He was previously Senior Vice President for Latin America at Whitney International University System. Prior to that, Jorge was Vice President of Business Development at Laureate Education Inc., and worked at Booz Allen in Mexico. Jorge has a BA from United States International University and an MBA from Columbia University in New York.
Thomas joined Galileo Global Education in May 2017. He is in charge of Information Systems and Online Training. He was previously Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of SOLLAN Ltd. in UK. Prior to that, Thomas was working in the R&D department of the Institut National de l'Audiovisuelle (National Audiovisual Institute). Thomas holds a degree in IT Engineering from the Technological University of Compiegne as well as a DEA in Social Sciences and Humanities, Knowledge Management and Technologies.
