Raph Appadoo became CEO of Galileo Global Education in November 2011. Raph was previously President of Laureate Education, Inc., a post-secondary education company, until 2007. Prior to that, Raph was Executive Vice President of Aetna International Inc. and also held senior management positions at General Motors, Merrill Lynch and Raytheon. Raph has a BSc degree from London School of Economics and received his MBA from the University of Chicago.
Bruno joined Galileo Global Education from Providence Equity Partners in London, where he led an investment in Academedia, #1 Swedish group of independent schools. Bruno was previously at The Carlyle Group in the European technology fund. He has a Master's degree from ESSEC and studied at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
Jorge joined Galileo Global Education in November 2011. He was previously Senior Vice President for Latin America at Whitney International University System. Prior to that, Jorge was Vice President of Business Development at Laureate Education Inc., and worked at Booz Allen in Mexico. Jorge has a BA from United States International University and an MBA from Columbia University in New York.
Prior to joining Galileo, Agnès was Managing Director of the automotive business unit of Mondadori/Axel Springer in France, the #1 player in the car information market. Agnès has more than 20 years’ experience in brand and product management, online marketing and CRM, and has worked at L’Oreal (France), Reckitt Benckiser (US, UK and France) and AOL (France). She has a Master's degree from ESSEC and studied at the University of Dublin.
Prior to joining Istituto Marangoni in 2008, Roberto worked with advertising agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, DDB Needham, Pirella Gottsche Lowe, serving clients in the design industry. Roberto also held positions at leading companies in service and online markets such as Valtur (Italy), Hotelplan (Switzerland) and Opodo (United Kingdom). Roberto has a BA degree in Oriental Languages and Literature from University of Venice Ca’ Foscari and an MA in Marketing and Communication from Publitalia School in Milan.
Reimar has a background in strategy consulting and higher education management. Prior to Macromedia, Reimar was a Principal at PwC and a Project Leader at Capgemini, focusing on media, telecoms and technology industries. Previously, he worked at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland as an Academic Manager. He received a PhD from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland and a BA degree in Economics from Witten/Herdecke University.
Alejandro has a long track record in higher education in Mexico, having spent 20 years at Universidad del Valle de Mexico in various operational positions. Prior to that, Alejandro was a marketing manager for Embotelladora AGA. Alejandro earned his BA and MA degrees in Business Administration, both from Universidad del Valle de Mexico.

Any student completing one academic year at a Galileo Global Education institution is eligible for a scholarship if he or she wishes to join another Galileo Global Education institution.
